Our school counselor services provide academic, college/career readiness, and social/emotional awareness. Thus, helping our clients align with state requirements for graduation and prepare for their future. Together we can create a plan of action to reach our client’s chosen goals, whether choosing a college and understanding its requirements, exploring career and trade schools, or enlisting in the military.
Our experienced tutors can cover all different subject areas. Each tutor specializes in specific subject areas and age groups from grades K-12. Our flexible tutors are available online or in person. In addition, our tutors can assist with test prep, including GED, SAT/ACT, and AP exams. If you are a homeschooler, we will obtain the codes for the SAT and or ACT or AP exams. We can assist students every step of the way, from reviewing content knowledge, understanding the weight and components of each exam, as well as acing the written section of each exam.
We can develop transcripts showing how many credits you earned in high school and how many credits are needed to graduate. If requested, we can make a full detailed list with descriptions of the courses taken throughout their high school journey. We can also offer recommendation letters. For those entering the work force or changing careers, we can create or update resumés and cover letters.
Financing an education can be overwhelming, let our staff utilize their expertise to maximize your affordability. We will look at all available financial aid, merit aid awards, grants and scholarships to ensure you take full advantage of all types of financial assistance for which you are eligible. We will assist you with navigating the FAFSA process including accurately completing the forms. Additionally, we assist with dual enrollment for those who wish to earn college credits in high school. Scholarship essays can be challenging to write so we are here to assist you in each stage of the development of your essay, from brainstorming ideas to drafting, editing, creating, revising, and polishing the final draft to make sure that it meets the qualifications of the scholarship essay!
Starting the college application process can be daunting. This service can be customized to meet your specific needs. Once you have decided which colleges to apply to, we can assist with the Common Application and its associated essay, as well as writing a standout supplemental essay for each college. Love School Counseling Café is here to assist you with all 5 stages of the writing process. Pre-writing, researching, drafting, revising, editing, and proofreading. We can also write a stellar recommendation letter for you.
Love School Counseling Café will create a complete detailed list and description of each college’s admission requirements allowing you to know exactly what your child needs to attend that specific college. This will include GPA requirements, application and tuition costs, testing requirements, and essay requirements.
Love School Counseling Café will go through each selected college or university and guide each student through the requirements of that specific college application. This detailed and thorough outline will include requirements specific to the chosen major and may include a portfolio, additional writing samples, or test scores if required.
Love School Counseling Café will examine your chosen major and minor(s) and list all of the requirements needed to graduate with a degree. If attending a college or university that has different satellite campuses within their main campus, we will examine each satellite campus offerings that pertain to your chosen major or minor.
Love School Counseling Café will assist in the planning and coordinating of college visits. We will create a schedule and map out destinations according to your specific scheduling needs. This service is a huge asset to students and parents because LSCC is responsible for all communication with the admissions teams at each college.
This service offers support with issues that may impact your academic success, such as bullying, sexual identity/expression, ADA disability, neurodivergence (including ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder), anxiety/depression, and more.
